Pats Get Revenge From Last Year’s Playoff Loss

Last season the New York Jets Came into New England and Beat the Patriots in the playoffs to advance the Jets to their second straight AFC Championship and send the Pats home.  I was lucky enough to be at that game and it was one of the best sports experiences of my life.  The Jets and all their other fans that also made the trip celebrated in Foxboro.  Sunday was the Jets first trip back to NE since that game.  The Pats wanted to make sure this time it was a different story.

The Patriots won this time by a score of 30-21.  BGE was big for the Pats, rushing for a career high 136 yards.  The Jets who have been struggling on offense welcomed back their center Nick Mangold, who had missed the last couple games due to injury.  Mangolds return though was not enough.  The Jets seem lost right now on offense.  They have no identity.  They want to run the ball but they can’t.  They have the big wide receivers but they are not getting them the ball enough.  Sanchez should have had a big game against the Pats D but he was only fair in this one.

Now the Jets look to Monday night when they will finally come back home to host the winless Miami Dolphins.  This is a game the Jets really have to win if they want to save their season.  Both the Jets and the Pats have to also look out for the Bills who are right now showing they should be taken seriously.  The Pats will host the Cowboys next week who the Jets beat in week 1.

Just letting everyone know I am a diehard Jets Fan.  I go to most home games every season and even some away games.  Enjoy a different take and perspective on your team.
